Headline match this weekend goes to the Aviva Premiership.

Wasps V Saracens & Gloucester V Exeter

This was it… The decider… Who would finish top of the league? Saracens, with the double still on, were on 77 needing to beat the Wasps to finish top. Wasps and Exeter were on 79. Both games were hard and tough in the first half, Gloucester of course playing for 7th or 8th. It looked good for Wasps at HT as Exeter were down 15 – 13 and they were winning 16 – 10. You thought both losing sides would fight back in the second half. Only one of them did. Exeter. They came back to beat Gloucester with a Bonus point. They won 20 – 34 putting pressure on Wasps. But the ultimate winners were Wasps who got the bonus point hey needed with help from Flanker Thomas Young who scored a hatrick in the game. The mat ended 35 – 15 to Wasps putting them on joint points with Exeter and living Saracens 3rd. Wasps won it on games won because they won more games then Exeter throughout the season. You can’t get more dramatic then that. What do the play offs hold for the Pro12 and the Aviva Premiership?

Play off Fixtures:
Aviva Premiership – Wasps V Leicester & Exeter V Saracens
Pro12 – Munster V Ospreys & Leinster V Scarlets
